“Imagine David Lynch walked into a butcher shop and decided to make a film about it; the result would likely be quite similar to Victor Nieuwenhuijs and Maartje Seyferth’s Meat. Meat, also known as Vlees, is a Dutch film originally released in 2010 and is now being released domestically on DVD and Video on Demand by the fine folks at Artsploitation. Artsploitation has a knack for releasing films that push the boundaries of genre and taste.
